The CIRP Winter Meetings are located at the “Maison de la Mutualité”, a 1920’s building in the heart of the Quartier Latin. The venue is close to the river Seine, a walk away from “Notre-Dame de Paris” and the lovely two old islands “Ile de la Cité” & “Ile Saint Louis”, the “Panthéon” surroundings (through the old climbing Rue de la Montagne Sainte Geneviève), the “Quartier Latin” (Latin Quarter) stoned pedestrianized streets, the Rue Mouffetard, the Rue de la Huchette surroundings, the large gardens “Jardin des Plantes” & “Jardin du Luxembourg”, the University of “La Sorbonne” and the beautiful “Conciergerie” and “Sainte Chapelle” as well as several museums.
